These are the Reflections and Resources used for each Module.
Module 16
Reflection on Cookies: Cookies are a good way to help the viewer if you have multiple backgrounds or would like to welcome them to your sites. However, it should be duly noted that not all aspects of cookies work in all browsers. I found that what will work in IE does not work in Netscape or Firefox. I found that to be somewhat odd since Netscape developed cookies to start with.
Resources Used: The book, PPT and your cookie example. :)
Module 16
Reflection on Navigational System and CSS: Since I have had a CSS in place with a navigation system since I started working on the LP's, it was a bit more of a task to show it. Hence it being in the body and not in the actual navigational system. CSS is easier for me now that I am working more with it. But the text book does not cover CSS at all, just need to say that.
Resources Used: The book and PPT.
Module 16
Reflection on Animation: Animations for photo array's can be fun with JS. Eye's following you all over the screen can be fun too but annoying as all heck. Correct, I didn't write the script on my own but given about 6 months of working with nothing but JS, I'm sure I could figure out how to do it on my own. I think for now I will stick with hovers for links.
Resources Used: The PPT and Dynamic Drive dot com.
Module 16
Reflections on Security: Security will and should be in the front lobes of all developers minds. Whether is it as simple as keeping someone from copying a photo to keeping them from the source code, developers need to find ways to keep thier sites secure. It is not an easy task but one that should be utilitzed by all developers at every stage of developement.
Resources Used: The book, PPT, Mozilla.org, Windows IT Library and Dev Articles.
